"My Sears" Component Design
As part of the team that spearheaded the next generation user experience efforts for Sears' family of websites,
our team worked directly with Sears' Chairman Eddie Lampert.
We defined the strategy of how Sears can take advantage
of social media best practices in their sites, finding ways to keep the users engaged with the content, help them personalize
the content on the sites by relying on engaging ways to gather behavioral data to improve their shopping experience.
I worked on creating several modules that ellicit behavioral responses fromt he user that are measurable by analytics.

Component Placements
Created visual rules and task flows within components that will be used as tools to make searching for products easier.
Through analytics, Sears will be able to measure and tailor the needs of a specific customer over a period of time, the more the customers interact with the site's components. This will eventually give the users a platform that fits their personality and needs.

ShopYourWay Kiosk Interface Designs
Below are the concept designs for Sears' multimedia kiosks that are available for browsing within their physical stores.
Mockup 1:
This option required a more "designed" approach where each landing page will reflect a
visually branded feel depending upon the product section the kiosk is displaying.
Mockup 2
Because some kiosks use a slower system, this alternate design is built to accomodate an easily updatable content via a content management system, and would require fewer design updates, and will require less internet bandwidth.

Sears Mobile Shopping Experience Comic
To showcase just how the next generation of mobile user experience can supplement the Sears’ shopping experience, we created a character on a mission to host a weekend party for his friends. Starting from a character sketch about a tech-savvy iPhone user named Evan, we created an interesting scenario that shows how social-networking can aid with the shopping experience.
